I've watched that video twice now and I don't see/hear what they're talking about. It shows two little yorkies in a home with a woman, some people outside that are picketing that say a few words, a shot of the judge and the man from the rescue saying something about doing this for 30 yrs....ummm, I'm sure there's something I left out, but nothing about a Pom and anyone stammering around trying to find words. There was a video of a man interviewd by channel 10 news and he was very laid back, I suppose it is due to on going legalities that he didn't say much, but I am hyper and I would have gone off on how bad this and that was, I don't remember where I got the video link from...Did you sign the petition? The count keeps going up and up, Yeah!

Maybe he thought acting calm was a better approach of presenting the situation? I thought it was good of him to bring with him a good piece of evidence, Peaches the Pom. Just with Peaches being there, you could see how bad these dogs were treated and just a sample of the health problems these poor pooches have.

I think I saw we have over 600 signatures?? Oh this is so GREAT!! I would really love to see this woman stopped from having ANY more animals.

I started this thread because I was afraid the petition was going to get lost in the other thread.

OK, I'm on the same page now :D I didn't think he did that bad of a job. I think he was reserved because he probably has to be.

It was a comment in the heat of frustration about the whole thing, I should have learned from other threads, keep my opinion to myself, I know any publicity is good, but...People take ones comment/opinion and run and never let it die...I will keep quiet...You can think he did good, I think he could have done better...

I understand, and please don't feel bad, our posting help keep this little thread at the top, otherwise it might have gotten pushed back to page three. Just so more people sign the petition.

Please don't be offended. You are very much entitled to your opinion. I'm glad we've had this back and forth convo. It's helped to keep this petition at the top of the page several times.

Thanks for starting the petition. I signed it, but I don't think I could stomach watching any video coverage. The descriptions were quite enough for me. (I cry when the humane society or 'stop animal cruelty' commercials are on tv!) I just can't understand how some people can be so cold-hearted toward animals. It's so unnecessary. :(

The videos aren't graphic, and the one linked in my signature, has two yorkies that have been rescued and are doing well, lets just hope our petition helps so they will not need to be returned.

I was googling Teresita Hughes, and I found this website: Florida Dog Breeders At PuppySites.Com with her name, and also the name of "Raffinan Kennel", I next googled Raffinan Kennel and came up with this website, Raffinans Kennel, another good reason not buy pets over the Web. Also, I would like people to notice that according to another news document Hughes had been thrown out of the AKC since 2003 for such things as refusing to allow kennel inspections and DNA mix-ups, however, her pups are registered with the CKC with no problems.
