I am so sorry for your loss - you must be devastated - such a tragic thing to have happened.

for you and your husband.

I know that this why so many Yorkie owners are scared to death to have their babies go under anesthesia...

This is just so sad !
I speyed my 4lb girls and they were really ill afterwards, but got over it...but I am too scared to neuter my 4lb boy as he is skin and bone, so he is 5 and a half now and still entire. My new puppy is a boy too, but I will probably do him and hope for the best...he is a bigger dog...over 7lbs at 5 and a half months, so I am hoping he will be fine.
You can never tell...that's the vet's job...I am so sorry this happened...the sooner you get another pup the better for you...look on it as giving a good home to another needy baby.

I am so terribly sorry for what happened to Sammy. My heart goes out to you through this tragedy. I can understand if you are not able to talk about this anymore right now. I don't even know what I would do. But we don't want to lose you here.....you were a wonderful Mommy to Sammy. We are here when you need us. Wrapping our arms around you so that you can grieve for your sweet precious Sammy.

Oh, I am so so sorry for your loss. My thoughts are with you.

I know how you feel. I've lost several dogs that were so close to my heart I didn't think I would be able to on.
