You did the right thing by not adopting the Chi. It would have been an impulse decision, and you really haven't had the correct amount of time to think of what an impact that would be on CoCo or your family. What if Coco didn't get along with it? Would it really be fair?

i was wondering the same exact thing. and i know if i got him that it would have been an impulse adoption. this is why i hesitate going there just to browse because i know i will want to save atleast one

i am positive that he was adopted, there were 2 others there looking at him too. but being me i felt that i was a better person for him to be with

idk..i just feel bad

, i wish i could save all of them.

Wow, Jess, that is a hard decision. If you dont feel comfortable then is best you didnt get him.

No, it is never wise to bring a different animal into your own dog's enviornment unless you know what the new dog's medical history is. You definitley don't want to risk your dog's being exposed to any illnesses.

Tough question. I think whatever decision you make or made, as long as you feel it's the right decision, it's the right one. On one hand, you have all of the heartache that you may go through and on the other you could feel good about rescueing him. I think it's a personal decision. There is no right or wrong answer here-it's what you feel.
