| ![]() Your clothes are cute! I have always been a sewer, I have twin daughters age 19 and always made most of thier clothes and many many outfits for my son when he was younger. Also my own as well. I went last week to the fabric store when they were having a sale on patterns for 99 cents each and bought like five of them with the most cute adorable clothes for small dogs. While I have purchased so many things for my little Dixie and my daughters yorkie who is two weeks younger Teddy, I am in the process of making lots of cute things for them. I am having such a good time. My husband tells me I should start a business, call it "Dixie's Dud's" and make and sell adorable yorkie clothes. I might just consider it. My kids are grown now and I am home during the day with Dixie and Teddy and my two seven yr. old Bichons. I used to do ceramics for problely 20 yrs and sell my things at shows. I made ceramic animal dolls and made all the clothes for them which were so fun to make and they sold so amazingly well. I will let you know about what I make. But if you can sew and you certainly can you can make the most adorable things and make them as fancy as you want for alot less than some places I have seen. Just the other day in the mail I recieved a catalog for yorkies and while everything was so cute, the prices were astronomical and I could have made five or six outfits with what they were asking for one and not even to mention the shipping. So if you have the time and can sew you are at a great advantage! Good Luck! ![]() |

| ![]() Thanks everyone, you're all so nice! Yep I'm just starting with the simple one I found online, but I have some patterns here that I'll get around to as soon as I tweak and get better at doing it. I can sew, I've always liked doing it, I usually make patchwork bags and stuff. I just couldn't get the knack for these dresses, it was the pattern sizing that gave me the most trouble. I'm going to the city on Friday so I'm going to check at the huge fabric store for lots of goodies. |
