| I found a Simplicity pattern yesterday that has a couple things. Its number 4472 you can check it out at their website if you want. www.simplicity.com It has a coat and dress. Its halloween costumes but you could use any fabric and make it work for anytime.

| I found this site for you. I haven't looked it over yet, so I don't know if it is any good. I did see a few in the back of one of the pattern books at the store this last weekend, but I don't remember which book it was now. http://members.aol.com/AHTerrier/outfits.html I have taken those little coats that lay flat before and used them to cut out the fabric...the kind that hook under the neck and the tummy.

| I make my own and it is so much fun! you start thinking of all this things to put on them. Sometimes I start making one thing and I mess up and it ends up being something else, or half way it looks like something else I can make and I start a second or third thing. I draw my own patterns and practice on old shirts or things I don't mine throwing out. I make things for others too, I just don't know how to make things sm md lg.... I need to mesure and fit the dogs. Good Luck and have lots of Fun!!

| I probably won't be to popular for saying this, but theres a lot of people on this site who make dog clothes, and must have patterns for them, but for some reason they aren't willing to share them. Maybe their afraid if we start to make our own we won't buy things from them. I'd even be willing to pay for the patterns, but so far no one seems to want to share. I finally bought a dress for Gwen that fits, took it all apart and made a pattern from it. Good luck. |

| I found a few more sites. The second one doesn't have dog clothes, but it has patterns for premies that should fit our yorkies. http://www.sewthankful.com/PetSewingPatterns.html http://www.angelfire.com/trek/mypatt...ternlinks.html http://www.rockywoods.com/patterns_main.htm Happy searching |

I dont want to start anything, I just want to defend myself and others that may sew clothes for a living as I feel this is sorta directed towards me. I made all my patterns all by myself through trial and error and using my dogs as my models. It took along time to "perfect" them just the way I like it and since I do sew dog clothes for living, I really dont wish to give away my patterns. Besides, I dont even have a way to get them into the computer. Otherwise I would love to share. I hope none of this sounded rude because I didnt mean it that way. I have people emailing me all the time asking for patterns and I always tell them that I know they sell patterns for dog clothes at fabric stores and on ebay. I thinks its great if people want to make dog clothes. I enjoy it and think others would too if they give it a try I am just trying to explain why me and someother people may not have responded to this post with offers to give our patterns. Good luck on making dog clothes, we would love to see pics! I would love to answer any questions you might have about sewing them or be of any help.

| No offense taken. Maybe if some of you can figure out how to make patterns you can sell them on your sites. I bought one at the fabric store and it was $14.95. If someone on here could make them, and sell them I'm sure a lot of members would buy them. |

| I have always been more than willing to help those who have wanted to make clothes. I make my patterns by buying clothes and taking them apart seam by seam and then tracing them onto brown wrapping paper. It works well. I could never find any good patterns for dogs to purchase. I have had a few but I just didnt like them. I found it alot more fun coming up with my own variation on what I had taken apart. |

| This was great. Thank you so much. I too have taken clothes apart and copied my own patterns. Usually I just play around and see how something comes out. I also make my own hair bows.
