| My Yorkie is very friendly! We sit out front pretty frequently and let our 3 dogs roam the front yard freely. They know they're not supposed to go in the street but sometimes, Tristan will just dart across the street when the cat's out. He doesn't want to harm it (because he never bites him or anything), he just HAS to greet everyone and everything. I'm trying to train him but it's hard because we don't keep him on a leash.

| I have the opposite.. Mia is a shy girl. I wish she was more friendly sometimes... it takes her a while to warm up to you, then she will shower you with yorkie kisses.

| Cassi is very friendly towards people, but when it comes to other animals she's very shy. The funny thing is...the only animal she's not shy around are big dogs. We have two lab retriever around my area and she's friends with both of them. Every time when we see them, she just rolls onto her back and let's them sniff her. However, when we come across a cat or rabbit she'll back away and hide between my legs. It cracks me up when I see this. |

| Kacee looks hurt, too, when people just ignore her. I have to admit that it even hurts my feelings because her feelings are hurt.

| Suzi is very friendly. She loves people. I think is a a wonderful trait she has, and it is pure innocence. Her little tail wags so fast, and she is truely very excited . She is not keen with other dogs though, and loves to bark at our Cockeitels.

| Geoffrey loves people (the person she loves the most is the last person to enter the room) and she likes other animals as well (especially cats). However, she is terrified of other yorkies for some reason. The two times that I've tried to introduce her to my friend's yorkies, she has hidden and shaken like mad. Granted, she is only four months old and the other two were a lot bigger than her, but nevertheless, it's somewhat odd how afraid she was of them in comparison to her outgoing personality around labs and other big dogs she runs into on her walks. |

| I did have to add one thing though... I took my Yorkie to the dog park once (actually twice) and he hated it!! We've never socialized our dogs w/ other dogs, just humans. He wanted nothing to do w/ the other dogs; just wanted to be held the whole time.

| This thread makes me rethink why Sophie is barking at other dogs. I think maybe she is trying to say hello. Maybe she's not crabbing at them after all! I thought Sophie was a tough girl but when I took her to the dog park she just rolled over on her back and let all the dogs smell her. No barking or anything... |
