| Extra toenail?!? I was picking at what I thought was a sticker bur on my fur pups back paw. After closer examination it looks like a toenail but on the side of her leg?!? It is attached the the skin but nothing underneath it (you can almost twist it all the way around in a circle). At first I was thinking a dew claw but there isn't one on the other foot and I had thought it would be attached? Very weird any ideas what that might be? |

Donating YT 10K Club Member | It's dew claw. If the other was removed...this one may have been missed. Be sure to let your groomer know it's there and remember to keep it clipped with the rest of her nails.

| It's probably the dew claw, but I'd have the vet have a look at it.

| Some times the dew claw doesn't get done completely good and will come back. But I think I would have the vet check it if you aren't sure. If its loose and not attached she might get it caught and pulled out. You might be better just having it fixed.
