I was picking at what I thought was a sticker bur on my fur pups back paw. After closer examination it looks like a toenail but on the side of her leg?!? It is attached the the skin but nothing underneath it (you can almost twist it all the way around in a circle). At first I was thinking a dew claw but there isn't one on the other foot and I had thought it would be attached? Very weird any ideas what that might be?
