Huh???? What????? Help!!!!!!!
Bella had her first hair cut yesterday and I was in shock when I picked her up. The groomer shaved the bridge of her nose where her hair was grown out and finally laying flat. (Sorry if this doesn't make sense). Is this a normal procedure that is done when they get cut? I told them I wanted her left as long as possible. I only wanted her feet, legs, ears, butt and belly trimmed. I didn't mention anything about the face. Now it has to grow out again and will be getting in her eyes. Is this normal?
Also, she is VERY silver. All of her roots on her back are silver and her entire head is silver. Will she stay this color? I am sooooo confused.

From my understanding when you get a puppy cut or ask to trim around the face the groomer will do the bridge of the nose between their eyes. At least that has been my experience. And once you cut it, it is likely that it won't lay well after when it's growing out. We cut Koda's and regret it terribly. It still won't lay right now and he is over a year. With Kammie I am making sure it will never be cut, and her's lays nicely.
When going to get groomed the best bet is to write the things you want done, write what you DON'T want done and be specific!!! Also taking a pic to show the groomer helps a lot and I think the groomer appreciates it so you are both on the same level. What you see by what you say may not be the same thing in their eyes. so it's better to be specific! I have learned from experience, believe me, lol!!!

Groomer shaving the bridge of the nose is common. It will take care and patience to grow this back out since the fresh cut will be more irritating to the eyes than the puppy hair was.
Every line has different characteristics but in general this is what will happen. Her head will likely turn from silver to tan as time goes but her body will stay silver and get lighter as she ages.
