From my understanding when you get a puppy cut or ask to trim around the face the groomer will do the bridge of the nose between their eyes. At least that has been my experience. And once you cut it, it is likely that it won't lay well after when it's growing out. We cut Koda's and regret it terribly. It still won't lay right now and he is over a year. With Kammie I am making sure it will never be cut, and her's lays nicely.
When going to get groomed the best bet is to write the things you want done, write what you DON'T want done and be specific!!! Also taking a pic to show the groomer helps a lot and I think the groomer appreciates it so you are both on the same level. What you see by what you say may not be the same thing in their eyes. so it's better to be specific! I have learned from experience, believe me, lol!!! |
