Wow kinny-kins...you live in our favourate island !!! You are so lucky...we spent 10 glorious days in Corralejo in 1996...I bet it has changed loads...but we just love the place, and Lobos too...wow...all that sand for your baby !!!!! I am soooo jealous !

I would never trust a groomer with any of my babies ! If you get them from a puppy...just be firm and say STAY in a firm voice and they soon do as told and you can trim them yourself....I use scissors !
....POOR YOU !!! It will only be 2-3 weeks and your dog will look so much better....3 months to half grown and 6 months to long.

I am so sorry!!! This happened to me recently!!! It was about 2 weeks ago and he is already looking better.

I know how you feel! One of my babies got into bubblegum and had to be shaved...I think he was sooo embarrased! But it did grow back faster than I thought. You really have to check around for a good groomer.

I think when I get my pup I will groom her on my own. I would hate to see her changed physical or emotionally by a bad groomer.

OMG! I am close to knowing how you feel. We tell our groomer to not put glue like stuff in Sasha's topknot to keep it up. One day she did, and it got all tangled up. Well, instead of letting my mom know, my little sister took scissors to it!! My mom was mad!! Now, there is a big chunk of her topknot gone!!

Show us some pics! At least his hair is even! All yorkies are cute no matter what!!!

I know i went today and bought him some more clothes to add to his wardrobe! Can you say SPOILED. We got sooo much new stuff. (and of course some new toys!lol) And of course since im from GA he is sporting his GA bulldog shirt today! lol

Awww.....I know you're upset, but it will grow out before you know it. When Scooter was a baby (he's now 10 years old), I took him to a groomer. She did a really good job cutting his hair and grooming him......but she wasn't very friendly to me and poor Scooter would shake like a leaf when I took him there. Something just wasn't right.......why was he so afraid of her? Anyway, that's when I decided to start grooming him myself.......and it's a good thing I did 'cause now I have 3 furbabies and I save lots of $$$ on grooming.

It's really frustrating when you feel like you gave clear instructions of what you want done and they seem to do something totally different!
That's what finally prompted us to try grooming our three at home. It will save us so much money too!
Besides if we screw up, we have nobody to blame but ourselves. We are hardly great at it and there is a real learning curve, but we keep telling ourselves we will get better!
We had to shave Camden down because when we got her, she was so badly matted and it does grow quicker than you think, don't despair!
