Administrator | We think most likely an error was made somewhere along the line or there was some confusion somewhere. At no point did Baby Blessing try to deceive anyone with the picture they used, nor did they try to sell a Yorkie or do anything malicious at all. There is a big difference between using a picture (which looks just like your Yorkie) as an avatar (and what Baby Blessing apparently did), versus trying to use the picture for nefarious purposes or to deceive anyone. |

| I think a lot of times people get to comfortable with being online. You really never REALLY know who is on the other side of the keyboard. Regardless of the facts behind this particular situation, there are deceitful people all over the internet. Just because someone seems to be religious doesn't automatically make them honest. The Nigerian puppy ad scams are always from someone who is a missionary, christian, pastor. A lot of people will use that as a front to encourage people to trust them and then rob them blind. Not saying that is what happened here but please everyone be safe online, you never know

| I love Patti as well but this does seem like an awfully odd time to revoke your membership. Especially if this is all just an innocent mistake.

| This type of drama is why I rarely post (or even logon) to YT anymore.

I Love My Lil' Punkin's Donating Member | I am only going to post once in this thread and this is ALL I am gonna say here. This has NOTHING to do with Patti OR Jerry or even YT in general really, but I just want to say this. My hubby actually banned me from this site a couple of weeks ago because of some very strange PM's that I was getting. He does IT work and is a computer whiz so he knows how to do all this stuff. After having YT withdrawals and lots of begging, he let me back on, LOL. He watches everything very carefully though... PEOPLE - this is the INTERNET and no matter HOW MUCH you think you really "KNOW" someone - you don't. MOST of us here aren't "friends" in REAL, every day life (some are, but most - no). It is all too easy to become comfortable with someone that you talk to daily on here, but who REALLY knows who is on the other side of the computer screen, and what they are up to or what their intentions are. It is WAY too easy for us to be overly trusting...and that can be dangerous, plain and simple. Not only here on YT, but on ANY online forums/message boards. Just because someone is nice and you FEEL like you "KNOW" them, and can trust them, doesn't mean that you can. All I am saying is to BE CAREFUL. People can act one way online and be the TOTAL OPPOSITE in real life. I say, keep your personal information as private as possible and don't go around sharing everything with everyone...be nice, courteous and respectful, but don't be too trusting - and I know that is hard because we do like to think of everyone here as our true friends....but the God's honest truth is, YOU NEVER KNOW.

| I said the same thing a while back and got totally trashed by people thinking that I was being very cynical and that people on this site felt very real, emotional connections with folks on this site that they had never met. Glad to see that people are finally facing reality - this is the Internet - nothing is as it seems to be.

We get that sense of faulse security on the internet which in turn can lead to serious mistakes.

Missing Yoshi Everyday! Donating Member | as I continue to look into the matter...i am thinking that there was an honest mistake somewhere...if you go back to her original post in the link thread...she never once talked about that picture...she only talked about the 1st and 3rd picture...so maybe we are all jumping the gun when really it was an honest mistake... http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/my-...s-gallery.html sorry if i offended anyone...i will now shut up....good luck to those involve and hopefully everything gets work out...
