| After reading this I want to get Alastor a harness, but I have one question. His collar breaks off his coat as it is, won't a harness ruin his coat? I know safety is the most important thing, but I am trying to grow out his coat and don't want to ruin it if it's not necessary.

| The harness I bought from chattiesmom is silk, so it shouldn't ruin their coat

| My dad did something similar to that to Duke when he was a baby. I had to leave to go to the store, and I couldn't take him with me. He always had separation anxiety so he would stand by the door and bark when I would leave him behind. My parents think that a dog needs to pee every 15 minutes and so my dad took it as he needed to go out and I just left...I was starting my car and my dad comes out, Duke was standing in the grass and I look over and my dad yanks him up with the leash choking him with his collar I was livid.I don't think anyone should pick up a dog like that no matter it's size. It's just not ok.
