YT 2000 Club Member | Just Took Maggy May In Well, it's 7:45, I just got home from taking Maggy May in and dropping her off for her spay, I'm a basket case. She puked a lil this morning, I know it's probably from not having anything to eat or drink since 7:30 yesterday evening. The doc told me they'd probably try and feed her a lil something today before she came home cause of her being so small and being worried about her getting hypoglycemic, but the secretary said normally they tell the owners not to feed them till 7:30 in the evening when we bring them home. Is this customary for such little ones? Of course the secretary isn't the doc either so I'm not going by what she says. I did take some of her Wellness puppy food in just in case so if the doc does try and give her a lil something that she has "her" food that she's on at home. She wasn't allowed to have her blanket with her, the secretary said the reason being is, a lot of the times when they wake up they urinate on the blankets of get sick on them. I felt so bad leaving her there, when the girl went to take her from me Maggy dug in and was trying to hang on. I asked them to call me as soon as the surgery was over so I knew she was out and everything was ok. It's weird sitting here not having her in my lap or having her try and steal my slippers off my feet or seeing her chase Justice (our cat) I don't like this, I want her home. Please say some prayers for Lil Miss Maggy May today that all goes well. I'll update soon as I hear anything. Thanks in advance.

| I was in your shoes two weeks ago...I know EXACTLY how you feel. Waiting is the worst part, but once you get her home you get to love & spoil her and you will both feel better. Prayers coming your way for you and your baby.

YT 2000 Club Member | The vet just called me, Maggy May's ok!!!! She's out, the surgery is over!!! I asked if she was awake yet, they said not completely but she's getting there. Thank God and thank all of you so much for the prayers for her as well as myself, it means so much to me. I'm so glad it's over and she's out of surgery. I can't wait till I get to go pick her up today and she's back in my arms, I just love that girl so much I don't know what I'd ever do without her. YT 2000 Club Member | Thank you so much, it is so appreciated. Yes, she gets to come home today, if they would have said she couldn't come home today, I'd have been camping out on the floor by her cage at the vets!

| FANTASTIC!!! I knew she'd be a champion. Now all thats left is to spoil her! The worst is over and within a day or two you'll be holding her back from tearing around the house. Ella Bean was TOTALLY 200% back to normal after 2 weeks and its now been about 5 and I can't even feel or see the incision. No scar and her fuzzy little fur has grown back! Maggie May will be a-ok before you know it. I'll be thinking of you!

YT 2000 Club Member | Thank you so much ladies, I can't tell you how much it means to be able to come here and know there's always love and support here for Maggy May and I. Oh I can't wait to get her home and kiss her and gently hug her and love her and spoil her. Who would ever of thought that a furbaby could make ones heart feel like this? I thank God for her everyday. She's a fighter, she came into this world fighting, had to fight for her life and I know she'll continue to fight.

| thats great news. send a prayer out for a quick recovery. i got abby spayed last tuesday. iwas a wreckkkk cuz i had to leave her there overnight. they said i could pick her up after 10, well i was there by 9:59. She started acting crazy wen she saw me. i started crying lol. wen we came home, she was FINE! she ran and even went down the stairs. i had to leave her on my bed so she won't go anywhere. she had no choice but to sleep lol. they heal soo fast. her stiches are dissolvable and i think they are almost gone alrady. she will be fine. |
