Awwww, I love the first pic. Maggy May has a guardian angel watching over her. Get well, Maggy Mae.

I think she's had a guardian angel watching over her since the day she was born. With all she's had to go through in her short lil life already, it amazes me she's still here and fighting so hard to stay.

Thank you so much, we sure do appreciate it. She's still pretty sore, she's been in her bed since I brought her home yesterday (aside from me getting her up for her to potty, then it's right back to bed.) I sure hope she feels better today, it breaks my heart to see her like this.

Thank you Mscat. Yes, Justice is all worried about her lil sister, I took more pics through the night cause I couldn't sleep, as you can see, Justice is so worried about Maggy that she feels the need to hold her with her lil paw.

I just love that picture. It is just amazing the compassion that animals have it is a shame more people don't share that compassion.
Hope Miss Maggie is feeling better today.

Louis was the same way after Ella Bean's spay. He was so kind and gentle - and he kept bringing her toys and chews...We have much to learn from our furkids, thats for sure. Can't wait to hear how Miss Maggie May is doing this morning.

I am certain that by this evening, she will be feeling quite a bit better and you'll start seeing improvement!!

Just wanted to stop in with an update on Lil Miss Maggy May. I hardly got any sleep last night, was up and down with her all night. I was worried cause she hadn't eaten by 8:00 yesterday evening, so I had/ had hubby go get some Wellness just for puppies canned food. I gave her a teaspoon of that & she ate it, I was relieved. Then again at about 12:30 I gave her another teaspoon since she had kept the other down and hadn't had any problems with it. Well, at about 2:00 this AM when I had finally turned the light out to lay down, I heard her whine. I jumped up and put her on her puppy pad and she had the runs, badddd. I figure it's from the canned food I gave her. So, the rest of the night she had the runs two more times. I'd clean her up and put her back in her bed and she's go right back to sleep. I gave her Kayro last night to make sure her sugar didn't go low and gave her some water was well. She was supposed to have another pain pill this AM but I didn't wanna give it to her on an empty stomach, so, I waited until she could eat something but knew I wouldn't be giving her the canned food again. I soaked some of her Wellness kibble and FINALLY at about 1:15 this AM, she ate some of it, so, I called the vet and let them know how she had the runs last night and let them know I held off on the pain med till she had something in her tummy. I just gave her her pain med a lil bit ago so I'm hoping to see some improvement here real soon. Thank you all for all the good wishes and prayers, it's very much appreciated.

Awww. Tracey - I am so sorry its been rough.
Really - over the next two days she will slowly start getting back to normal. It'll take time, but she is going to be a-ok!! Thinking of you and sending tons of good energy and prayers.

Thank you so much. I just got done cleaning her up again, she still has the runs but it seems to be thickening up since she ate her regular food soaked with a lil water. Oh, OH, OHHHH!!! I just seen her eat a piece of her food in her kennel that WASN'T soaked in water!!! After I cleaned her up and put her in her bed, I laid a piece in front of her and she didn't want it. I just turned to check on her and seen her eating it!!! Hopefully she does more of that!

The Kibble with warm water will upset her tummy less then canned food. Also, if you have some acidophilous/ probiotic, sprinkle a capsule on her watery kibble and mix it in. It will help her tummy settle. Human probiotic from the drugstore or GNC is fine, I use the human stuff for my furkids!

Painkillers can also cause tummy upset. Is she on antibiotics? That also causes tummy upset....Its a great sign she is taking kibble again!

Actually I think she's starting to feel ok again I haven't had to soak anymore of her kibble, after she ate that one piece earlier she ate two more pieces and then laid down with me. We ended up taking a nap and when we got up, she ate her kibble as normal all on her own, WITHOUT having to soak it, YAYYY!! She can walk around normally now to and would you believe the lil booger butt is ALREADY trying to climb up on my shoulder??!! You'd think that would hurt her lil tummy! She's now resting comfortabley on my lap, I think she zonked out again. She's now on any antibiotics, just the pain med, she gets one pill a day, tomorrow's her last day of it. I'm so glad she's eating her food and drinking normally now, that had me worried with her going so long without eating like that.
