| MALE or FEMALE? I have been wanting a yorkie for awhile but really dont know if I should get a boy or girl.I was wanting a girl just to be girly, I think girly would be a lot of fun.I already have 4 skin boys not counting a husband.I would just like some info. Are girls easier than boys, are the boys little than the girls.Someone on yt sayed the girls favor the human boys?I dont want that Im already out numbered.Any suggestions? |

| I have one of each and I love both! Both of them are equally attached to me and kissy and cuddly. I have heard that boys tend to cling to women and girls to men, but I don't think that's the 'rule' — it varies from puppy to puppy, they each have their own personality. Some have a problem with the boys marking around the house — I've never had a problem with this though. Whatever you decide to get, I can promise you, you wont be disappointed. If you're really torn, get one of each

| Aww i felt the same way, my partner has a golden lab which pays me NO attention what so ever LOL i wanted my own little dog and wanted a girl to dress up and put bows in her hair. One day on the off chance we went to see a litter of puppies by the time we got there only one little boy left but i am so glad we got him. He took to me right away and follows me around the house like my own little body guard He is fast asleep on my knee as i type this. I was worried he also wud like my partner better as he feeds the dogs so i thought that bailey wud see him as the pack leader, but nope he is a RIGHT little mummys boy I still dress him up in little t-shirts and jumpers and rain coats for boys and even have a few boy coloured clips for his hair hehehe! good luck with what ever u decide. BTW little girl yorkies are cuties too

| boy/girl Well, I'm not much help I have both. Jack is very lovable in the morning He picked me when I went looking at the breeders house. He gave me kisses and I knew. Now, I have Bella, she is a sweetheart she loves to sit in my lab and she is a lap dog. On the girly part I don't know yet its just me and my husband. Hope this helps by the way Bella likes my husband but she won't sit still in his lap she wants me.(ha). Hope this helps Cheryl |

| I have one of each, Both are attached to me, but it does seem that Layla is more of a daddy's girl when he is around. Chase will always be a momma's boy. |

| Male of female I have a male American PitBull Terrier Male 5 years old. A Yorki female that was 1 year April 1. Daisy-Mae rules the roost all 7 lbs. of her. Both Oz and Daisy are lap dogs. They are equally lovable and both were easy to train. I could not choose. Went to the breeder and looked and held until I fell in love. |

| I have never had a girl Yorkie but I have had a girl dog before. If given the chance I would love to get another boy. Diesel is my baby and loves to cuddle. He is very attached to me more so than anyone else. So I say get a little boy!

| You remind me of myself! When I was trying to decide between a boy or girl, I posted the same question on YT!! I ended up with a girl.... I have so say, Mia LOVES her daddy. There were times where I was almost jealous that she wasn't all over me, like she was with him. She is 6 months old now and her affection has pretty much evened out now between the both of us. I remember from my post, a lot of members said their little boys were little cuddle-bug sweethearts.

| I always wanted a girl, only beacuse I thought it might be easier to potty train her. Lulu loves both me and my boyfriend, but she is extremely attached to my hip. The minute I come home from work, she doens't leave my side until the next morning when I leave for work. And all weekend she has to be with me, and no one can tell her otherwise. I guess it depends on the puppy... |

| I have one of each and like it that way. Alot of people on here say their girls are aloof and not cuddly but my girl is super cuddly Chachi my boy is all boy. Very playful, easy to train. He didnt use to be very cuddly but I started picking him up an holding him more and he is very lovable and cuddly now. Not as much as Jewels though. I say get 2 one of each

| I have a F and she is the best but when husband gets home she is a daddys girl. She has been a great companion. I also just bought a male but he will not be home for a few days.

YT Addict | I'm biased of course. I love love my Teddy. He's my best friend. I think boys are more drawn to girls. However, you never know, you get a girl and she could totally want all of your attention 100% of the time.

| Chelsea is my first female & a true doll. But compared to Rocky, she's not as friendly. She loves to cuddle and be held but on her terms! Whereas Rocky ALways wanted to be next to you. I think girls are adorable. I really think personality is key. one thing is for sure, you will have unconditional love either way! Best of luck finding your new baby! |
