| I've always had large male dogs. Lucy is my first female and she is the best! I think it is totally individual to the personality of the dog. I had every intention of getting a male but, well, Lucy chose me and that was that

| Frankly, from reading the pros and cons on YorkieTalk for 2 and 1/2 years, there are valid arguments for both boys and girls. I am partial to boys and in fact have never had a girl dog. My best friend is partial to girl dogs (but has a boy Doxie right now who is giving her a run for her money and who is a hoot!). I ADORE my boy, but if I were to get him a playmate, I think I would got for a girl. I just know that my boy is very affectionate -- but I think girls can be equally so. Each one is an individual.

| I followed my heart and its a boy!! Thats 5 in the house well 4 skin boys and a husband well I guess it was the plan cause I wouldnt trade them for the world |

| Congradulations on your boy! I have a little girl and love her to pieces. She is my baby and is always near me. Yet, when she sees my son, she is always very excited and happy too I can't wait to see pictures of your little guy

| havin everything that means so much to me makes me feel rich and its not money its all basketball games the baseball games and real soon the football games and just being the best mommy makes me feel like gold!! |

| I was fortunate enough to have been owned by a female yorkie for 7 years. She was totally my dog.....kinda made my husband jealous I think. We are now awaiting the arrival of one of each!!! Hopefully they will each pick one of us as their most favoritist person. I will be curious to see how it works out. |
