No way they are going to get away with that!!! They can change the pet rules for upcoming tenant but ask over 100 people to get ripe of there pet. If the guy hate pets..he should buy a non-pet building!

Congratulations!!!! I read you original post last week and just wanted to cry because I'm kind of in the same situation....But I'm so happy things worked out for you because it heart breaking to have to get rid of your fur baby...Now that you guy can booth say I think you should get another one

Oh my gosh, you made me tear up.... I totally agree with everyone here. And yes it's true that your lease is valid until your lease is up, doesn't matter who bought the place or any kind of change in ownership. That lease is VALID. Getting an attourney and fighting this is worth everything, especially considering your position not only in life, but as a tenant.

I would also contact the Tenant's/Landlord association of your area in regards to this matter.

Keep fighting. You have every right to be there and your baby has every right to be with you.
