congrats on your new puppy.

If i remember correctly, my dog had a lot of tangles when they were puppies(I think it was the coat) but when they grew up I didn't have much trouble with tangle.

What I did when they were puppies was buy a conditioner/detangler to make it less painful for me to brush out the tangle. Sorry, probably not much help.

Sorry it isn't sold in stores, just online at their site. But it does work great, and worth every penny
