Yorkies good with cats?

I have 3 large cats but Piper never had a problem with them and now our little 2+ lb. Phoebe chases the largest, my lilac persian, Lyric, around the house every chance she gets...so funny to see! Good luck getting your new furbaby...they should all do well.

We have 2 yorkies, 1 cat, and a chinchilla. My dogs get along with the cat fairly well. Sometimes they like to chase each other and play and sometimes they get annoyed and I have to stop them. But, they have never been in a fight or anything, the dogs usually just stick together and the cat does her own thing.

I have a year old Himalayan cat and she and my yorkie get along just fine. They often chase each other and love laying together sometimes.

I have a 6 year old Main coon and he out weighs Fergie by over 10 pounds...they get along great...The cat gets stalked by Fergie daily and they love to chase each other. We enjoy watching them play.

We have two new yorkie babies, Dixie who is 11 weeks today and Teddy who is 9 weeks today. We also have two other dogs, 8 yr old Bichons and 8 cats. Our cats do great with them. They are all declawed and spayed/neutered so they don't have much in the way of defense anyway. (They all stay inside) Teddy loves one of our black cats, Evie, she will come right up to the baby pen and Teddy will come over and just lick and lick and lick her!!

They haven't been around the Bichons much yet. When I put Teddy down the other day near them to sniff him, one of the Bichons bit him. I was standing right there and quickly scooped him away, but that just lets me know that they won't be coming around until the puppies are a little bit older!!

i just got a siamese kitten about 3 weeks ago.. he's 9 weeks old now. at first Bell (who is a year and a half) was a little skeptical about the new arrival. she growled a little. now, they have gotten used to each other and are really good friends, the cat chases and plays as if he was a dog!! they are great together.

My older cat, Casper, who is 14 isn't my yorkie's biggest fan. He will swat at her sometimes if she's getting on his nerves but mostly just stays away from her. My other cat, Mr. Luci, who is 2, loves the puppy and they play all the time.

We had 2 cats (one recently passed away). The cat that just passed away hated the dogs and would always hiss. They ignored her and just kinda looked at her like "what's your problem?!" The other one is still a baby and loves to play. Chip and him do really, really well together. Smokey does good with him, he just doesn't understand that he has to play a little more gentle with him.

I am watching someones cat for a month. GiGi is great with him. EXCEPT for the fact He is alot bigger than her and thinks she is a toy. He is stalking her, then he will jump out of nowhere and scare her. I think she is going to have a heart attack!! You should see her always checking behind her now!!!

My 13 pound cat out weighs both my Yorkies together! Try my smallest can take him on! Living with my hubby there has to be a cat around! Lol if it weren't for me he would have dozens.

Ah, that's the thing. I don't want the dog to chase them around or anything lol, things might get ugly =/. Btw you all have such beautiful babies .

Captain Jack loves our cat. He thinks he is the coolest chew toy ever. He tastes great and makes the best noise when he bites him!
