We have two new yorkie babies, Dixie who is 11 weeks today and Teddy who is 9 weeks today. We also have two other dogs, 8 yr old Bichons and 8 cats. Our cats do great with them. They are all declawed and spayed/neutered so they don't have much in the way of defense anyway. (They all stay inside) Teddy loves one of our black cats, Evie, she will come right up to the baby pen and Teddy will come over and just lick and lick and lick her!!
They haven't been around the Bichons much yet. When I put Teddy down the other day near them to sniff him, one of the Bichons bit him. I was standing right there and quickly scooped him away, but that just lets me know that they won't be coming around until the puppies are a little bit older!! |
