Hi Diva, I haven't used the predator wasps, but I have heard that they work - do they also worked on mosquitoes - we have tons of mosquitoes this year, although they are not quite as bad now as earlier.

I have done everythign but the bombing. I have changed anytype of filter in my house and washed anythign that could be washed. I also steamed cleaned everythign. I am afraid of using chemicals because I am not sure what is safe for dogs. I have 3 of them so its no easy task gettign them out of the house. I am pretty sure this will still be an ongoing problem because my neighbor on both sides of me and behind me all have outside big dogs that they do not take care of. I am sure they are covered in fleas and keep contributing to my dogs. I need to go spray thier yards and bomb thier houses as well as mine or they are just goign to keep crossign over into my yard. But as for my dogs, I will have to try some of the wierd remedies mentioned in this thread. Thanks guys. Hopefully somethign will work.

The bottom line is that with any of the frontline products and Advantage they have to bite your dog to die. If you have fleas in your home and they are hatching eggs in your carpet your dogs will continue to get reinfested . You can put some seven dust down in your yard if you want to kill the fleas there or try the natural remedies that were suggested here. Bombing your house will kill the live fleas but not the eggs. If you use the borax(which is safe to your pets) you will kill them as they hatch too. Fleas live outside just because the dog next door has fleas should not mean yours do. Once you get control of the flea situation it is easier to treat your dogs successfully.Don't forget your furniture too. I like the more natural remedies because of the safety issues with small dogs. Good luck!!

Last summer we had a flea problem something awful. I got cap-star tablets from the vet that you can give every three days and will kill the fleas. I tried frontline and it didn't work. Also I gave Rags a bath in dawn dish detergent and it would kill the fleas. This summer has been better and I am using frontline which seems to be working. We moved to a new place in Feb. and I guess we left the fleas for the new home owner.

I live in a rural area and have had flea problems in the past, since I put Pita on the Brewer's Yeast and she gets Revolution once a month, we have been doing better. Also I bathe her in the Zodiac Flea shampoo for puppies which is really gentle and I haven't had a big problem lately. I also use the Borax when the fleas are in the house! It's great stuff!
