Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Re: Men and Yorkies We just got our First Yorkie April 21st, he's almost 5 mos. old and My husband adores him. And just the other day I met a workman at my neighbors house who had his two Yorkie's with him. He was very macho and in love with his small furbabies.

| My husband loves our girls. He doesn't care what other people think of him walking two Yorkies, one wearing a bow and both wearing pink. I wouldn't have him any other way.

| He Loves only one of them? I already had 2 Yorkie's before I started dating my BF, so Artie & Abigail's attitude towards him has always been distant. It's as if they have the confidence in knowing I will always take care of them? My BF was always insecure and jealous of all the attention they get from me. He used to breed and raise Boxer's so he's definetly a Big Dog Man. It was'nt until Artie & Abigail had a Litter of Puppies almost 2 yrs. ago and we ended up keeping the runt "Tiffany" nicknamed Pom Pom. She's been forcing herself on him since she was born. She sleeps in between us every night since she was 8 wks. old, she makes sure she is the last to kiss him @ night and the first to wake him up every morning! She does what ever she wants to him regardless of how much he nags @ me about her, I just ignore him. As much as I love Yorkies, I figure that there is a Yorkie for every one so eventually he would fall in Love with them too? At least one out of the 3 any way! Now he loves her and would never let me sell her. I used to force him to walk them during the Evenings that I go to Work, but now b/c of her he does'nt mind. He interacts with them alot more but he knows the 2 are mine and she is his! |

| My husband enjoys the attention he gets when he is walking our little girl around. He has only received positive comments.

Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | 67 replies in three days to a post where a guy is admitting he likes Yorkies? I think that confirms the "chick magnet" thing. Yeah, I long ago got over the stigma of the little dog/less-manly thing. I still see it and hear it all the time, but I just don't care. While the manly dogs are drooling and shedding and fighting and keeping the neighbors awake at night, my Yorkies are the smartest dogs I've ever owned and a perfect fit for my lifestyle.
