| I've been in your situation also when I had to have my poodle put down after he had a stroke about a year ago. It was absolutely gutwrenching. I can now look back on the 15 years we shared and always smile. It will get better but it takes time. I'll be thinking of you.

| I'm so sorry. I know how bad this makes you feel. Over 10 years ago I had to have my first yorkie Candy put to sleep. She was 12 -13 years old every time I would pick her up she would cry from what the vet said were tumors all over her body. She had cataracts on her eys so she was totally blind. The morning I took her to the vet she had been sick for a day or two throwing up and it had started to turn bloody and of course she also had diahrreah. So when I got to the vet we decided it was best for her to just put her to sleep. Of course I cried when he told me what I already knew in my heart needed to be done. It was still very hard. The vet asked me if I wanted to be there with her and I just couldn't bear it. I wish now that I had but at the time I couldn't do it. It was all I could do to take her from when they put her back in the back I had brought her in. I cried all the way home. Then then hard part when my son got home he took her across the creek and buried her. Then I cried some more. I told my husband that whenever it had to be done again he would have to do it. Which may not be too far in the future we have a 14 year old shih tzu. Luckily the only thing really wrong with her is just old age. she is not sick thank goodness. Again, I'm so sorry. |

| Bless your heart. My prayers go out to you and your loss. I lost my baby in March of this year. When I see these posts, it brings back a lot of sad memories. I only have his picture and ashes to remind me how special life was with him.

| I am so sorry to hear this about Kim. Our prayers are with you. I guess now she will not suffer any longer and as the YT members say she will be in Rainbow Heaven in peace and harmony. Be strong, she would have wanted that.

| that you lost your Kim. I as others have been there and it never gets any easier. The heartache is so acute right now, but there will come a day when you can think of her and look at pictures of her and remember how much joy and happiness she brought into your life. I can look at pics of Max whom I lost when he was barely four months and Whitby who was my baby for 10 years (he was 14 when he left me) and remember the fun and love we had together. It was what got me to the point of wanting more love and joy and getting my two boys. I swore I would never feel that way about a dog again, but I do and I enjoy and love every minute of it. I am so sorry about Kim, and how you are suffering right now, just know that we are all here for you. Love and hugs, Millie, Bengie and Garett |

| I'm so sad for you, I do know what your going through, as I have been there before. I'm sure many of us have been. You are in my thoughts and prayers and I hope you will be ok. Time will heal your broken heart, but Kim will always be in your memories. Keep in touch. Heres a poem: “Remember me always, but do not grieve for me too long. I have tried always to comfort you in times of sorrow, and have made every effort to add joy to your life. I never wanted to cause you pain. Peace for me is certain now, and I suspect I will have eternal sleep in the earth I have loved so well. Please, after your period of grieving for me, make room in your heart for another. You are the kind of human being that should always have a friend like me to love. Your kind and gentle heart should not be wasted on my memory for too long. Give your love to another. I know your new friend will never take my place, because we had something very special. It may not be quite the same, but a new devoted and loving companion will in time, become special in their own way. You loved me very much and I loved you. My spirit will always be with you, and no matter how deep my sleep, my grateful heart will always remember you.” Author unknown
