Ok I know I should have kept the leaflet that came with the Advantix but maybe the girls ate it lol!
They were overdue for their flea treatment but didn't have any of course (I hope!!) and as we were undecided as to when exactly we were going to a dog show I left their bath until today. Ordeal now over (for all of us!) and I want to check with all of you that now they are dry, can I apply Advantix or should I wait until 2moro?
Gypsy Rose won't "speak" to me for hours after and Gizzie Chavi will go into hibernation so must get this right! I don't like to be in their bad books!
The dog show will be great - it's not a serious one at all and all types of dogs go from all over the country and as we have a motorhome we can camp there for 2 nights. All those lovely dogs and our girls will love it - now they have had their baths they look wonderful but just watch them roll in something obnoxious before we get there!!
Advice re application of Advatix would be great please!! Thank you, Ana xx

Ana, you can put it on now that they are dry. I always put the Frontline on after their baths, I cannot imagine Advantix would be any different. but maybe someone here still has THEIR pamphlet. LOL

Thanks!! Trying to catch Gypsy Rose as we speak --- she will hate me I know it!! It must irritate her as she goes crazy for ages afterwards. Gizzie doesn't care really although she looks very unhappy whilst it is applied.
This is the last of the Advantix anyway, with our plans to go to Spain, the vet gave me Advocate the last time so maybe Gyps will tolerate that better? Hate it when she refuses to "speak" to me!! Ana xx

I have never had a dog who holds a grudge until i got a Yorkie! It's like Tucker is offended when I do something he doesn't like. I swear, he's more human than some people I know

I put it on when Gracie is dry. I was at the vet's office the other day and heard the vet tech saying that it will wash off after the first bath you give the dog... Must be great for dogs that get bathed once a month, but not for Yorkies. Well, Gracie has no fleas so some of it must stay on after baths...
