A couple of hours after we got home she had a poopy and OMG it was nothing but dead worms. Bless her little heart. I just cried right along with Tawny. We had a very long night. When hubby got home from work, he sent me to bed. He stayed up with Tawny until he couldn't any stay awake. He woke me up and I went and checked on her. I got her to drink a little more water. I went to watch t.v. and fell asleep on the couch. Little Man woke me up this morning, because Tawny was whining. This is what I saw when I went to check on her.

She was up walking around, she's not wobbly or shaking like she was last night. She even ate and drank on her own this morning. She pee'd and pooped. She wanted to play this morning. Right now she's standing at the gate whining, because she either wants out to play with big brother or she wants me in there with her. She is doing so much better this morning. It was like she was never sick last night. I don't understand how she could have bounced back that fast. I do too, and it was with the grace of God. She is definitely is a little fighter!

The vet called this morning to check on her. I told her how Tawny was doing. She was pleased. I even asked her about her age. She said by her looks and her teeth she would have said she was 4 1/2 to 5 weeks old, but after she examed Tawny and knew that Tawny was malnourished and sick she said she would say she was 5 1/2 to 6 weeks old.

I told her that Little Man goes to the gate and tries to play thru the gate. She said well from the way she was last night I wouldn't let them be around each other for another day, but if Tawny is doing better today then I can let them interact with each other for about 30 mins every 2 to 3 hours. She doesn't want Tawny to get exhausted. She said that way they can get aquainted with each other, but in a couple of days she will be able to be around him without any restrictions.

Larissa, I'm so sorry and I pray that Tawny is strong and a fighter!

Have you thought about putting her back on formula? This would give her the nutrients she needs.
