Thanks everyone for ya'll prayers! We just got home a few mins ago. She got really bad dehydrated tonight. It was really bad. I thought I was going to lose her. I prayed and kept pushing liquids down her. My MIL drove while I pushed liquids.

When we got to the clinic. She was dehydrated a little but not severely. The vet said I was doing something right by pushing liquids down her even if she didn't want them. The vet said what caused the dehydration was the mixture of giving the shots and that pill for the worms. And too she is still in pain from having her little dew claws removed. The vet did get her to eat a soft mashed up treat. She told me that if Tawny will eat that, then to continue to let her eat it until she gets some strength built up but do try to to get to drink some of the milk supplement and to continue giving her the nutrical. She does want me to keep Little Man away from Tawny for a couple of days. Other than her being in a little pain and a little bit of dehydration she was fine. She said for me to watch Tawny closely tonight and if anything else happens for me to call first thing in the morning and bring her in.

On the way home I had my MIL stop at the store and I got some gatorade and some vanilla ice cream (for Little Man for being such a good big brother while I was tending to Tawny).

Thanks everyone!!!! It's going to be a long night, but I got faith that Tawny will be ok. She's resting right now in her little bed and Little Man is resting on the other side of the gate to where he can see her when he wakes up.

Goodness you guys have been thru a lot today. I'm so glad that she is starting to get better from that today. Bless you heart, you have saved little Tawny. You are being such a good mama....you just kinda fell into raising/weaning a puppy and you are doing such a good job. Thoughts and prayers continue for all of you.....and I hope LittleMan enjoyed his ice cream!! He's bein such a good brother keepin watch over Tawny!

Thank goodness you can handle this , by just giving fluids and watching her closely but she will be fine. That is good news. Sometimes doesn't it seem like you have babies to take care of no matter what time of day it is or how tired you are. God bless and keep up the good work

Awe, poor Tawny, she sure has been through a lot in her short lil life so far. I'll most definately keep her in my thoughts and prayers. That lil girls a fighter, tell her to keep fighting and not give up, she's not allowed!! Please keep us updated as you're able. Oh, and kisses, please give her lots and loves of kisses from me. Just reading this thread this morning...boy what a night you had! We will keep you and little Tawny in our prayers. Just keep doing the wonderful job you have been doing with her! God Bless you for that, by the way! She is so lucky you found her! After going through all of this with her your bond together will be so very strong! Im sure it already is! God Bless!

Aww, poor little thing, taken away from her mommy so soon. But it sounds like she has an angel of a new mommy taking care of her now. So glad she is doing better. She has a beautiful little face. Sending prayers and hugs for Tawny, you and for her fur-mommy and brother.
