Kota's full name is Dakota Rose (stephens, of course

). Rose is my grandmothers middle name, and as my sister is named after her...it would have been slightly confusing to name her annabelle..belle...tinkerbelle....or belsy, as these are all my sister's nicknames.

And I have just always liked the name dakota, thought it was pretty.

Bogey is McLendon's Double Bogey Boo (my husband is a golfer)

Pebbles is McLendon's 'Lil Miss Cocoa Pebbles (her coloring of black & gold)- it should have been Miss Bunny Rabbit

McLendon is our last name.

What interesting names!! I love researching pedigree's/names. Toto's is kinda "bland"! A year before we found her [and before she was even born], we decided to kinda look but Patrick and I were in total agreement, be it a boy or girl, the name would be Toto. We travel so much and I was constantly telling him "we're not in Kansas anymore"! We sometimes forget where we are ... duhhhh!!

Anywho ... her Dad is Tyava's Wyatt Earp and her little Mom is Tyava's Out of This World, Venus. So, after much consideration ... Tyava's Out of Oz, Toto!!

Alastor's AKC name is Ravenfeather's Professor Alastor Moody.
I have 3 kids who are obsessed with Harry potter (my daughter decided how to decorate my yt profile page. you can see how crazy she is about it all.) so they wen't down the list of wizards trying out names. While I don't think my Alastor looks a bit like mad eye moody, I liked the name Alastor so agreed with the rest. The ravenfeather came from a horse I knew and loved as a kid, and quite frankly, my kids named him so I wanted to ad something of me to it.

RoxyJo - My dtr bought her with her 1st ss check after the my dh died to help us heal so the Jo is after him(Joe) and the Roxy came from the brand of shirt she was wearing the first time we saw her and decided to get her (Roxy brand).

Remington's Silver Bullet - Remi comes from a long line of western names. His daddy is Winchester and his g-g-Grandfather is Rothby's Renegade so I went with Remington(the rifle). Silver is also in many of his pedigree names. His mommy is Lil SilverBelles. Since I love Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band and Coors Light

- I went with Silver Bullet.

Dixie's was (rip) Stardust's just whistling Dixie
Roxie is Stardust's Night at the Roxie
Maya is Mystic Mountain Maya
Cali isn't registered but her name is California Dreaming

Gracie is Iris' Graceful Fancy. I named her Gracie before I gave her a registered name. Iris' was her mother's name and part of the name of the breeder's kennel.

Holly's breeder gave her the registered name, so I found a name that would work with it: Claryn's Made of Honor.

Gracie's registered name and Holly's call name were both selected with lots of help from YTers!

Triss' full AKC name is "Triss Marigold of Rivia". This is a name from my husbands favorite computer game.

Lil Bear - a fur ball for the first 6 months looked like a teddy bear
Lil Shado - was Lil Bear's Shado
Lil Sadie- means Hebrew Princess and she definitely is a princess
Lil Toot - just a nickname that fits him since he is so small,still haven't decided on his registered name any suggestions

Chewie's regsitered name is Lancaster Baby Blue...

Lancaster for the city we live in... Baby (his mommy's name)....Blue because of his coat color
