Alastor's AKC name is Ravenfeather's Professor Alastor Moody.
I have 3 kids who are
obsessed with Harry potter (my daughter decided how to decorate my yt profile page. you can see how crazy she is about it all.) so they wen't down the list of wizards trying out names. While I don't think my Alastor looks a bit like mad eye moody, I liked the name Alastor so agreed with the rest. The ravenfeather came from a horse I knew and loved as a kid, and quite frankly, my kids named him so I wanted to ad something of me to it.
