I just about began weeping when I saw that sign though... I didnt see any dog anywhere but I couldnt take the chance, and I was lucky their fence was easy to get over!!! It was a comical sight I'm sure lol Especially when I collapsed to my knees in that lady's yard lol I bet she'll have a funny story to share with her family at dinner today lol "U shuda seen that lady with her wimpy little dogs cowering from poor ol' rufus" lol

There have been so many scary moments in my life when I have laughed to keep from crying, people certainly question my sanity!! When I read your post, I was mortified for you and your babies and thankful to God that you all weren't hurt. Then when I re-read it, I was laughing so hard. Laughter is indeed "the best medicine"! You're right, that lady will probably be talking about this for a very long time.

Glad it turned out okay. I have such a hard time with these kinds of posts. It is my worst nightmare. My poor Sassy hardly ever gets to go for walks because I am afraid of all the big dogs on the loos around here.

What a great story, I could just see it they way, you described it "Oh him?? He don't say anything. He live over there." Lol, funny and terrifying. I think I would be so much more frightened if I had Joey with me, because you can't even fight back, having two that you were trying to protect would be horrible. aww thats so sweet I'm thinking it must have been that

and "leaping" is what bettyanne pictured in her mind when she read my post lol

the fence was made on a brick foundation so it was a few steps up and then a step over thank god I dont know what i'd have done if it was a wooden fence...

I had read your post about how long to walk your puppies, but didn't really know the answer. So I looked at my cellphone to see what time it was and how long we walked. That's the only way I remembered it was 2.

Wonder Woman or not, I still think you did good.

It was freaky. I don't really know what I'd have done though if he had turned out to be an aggressive dog - or if I had not been able to duck into someone else's yard.

My main focus because of whats happened, is to work on Jaya and Jenna's behaviour...... they shouldnt be barking at other dogs and things they think are weird (like baby strollers )

Those dogs would not have paid any attention to us if the girls hadnt started barking at them. Its an issue that needs to be fixed asap.

I would love to be able to do the guy thing here and say you got all worked up for nothing, but I do the same danged thing all the time. It's frightening. And, as you say, they sense your fear.

Thankfully, it worked out well.

Well, I'm only frightened because I'm afraid of what I'd have to do to those mean dogs. It wouldn't be pretty when a macho guy like mean tangles with them.
