| For those of you with two or more yorkies.... We are seriously considering another yorkie so Cooper has a playmate. For everyone who has two or more. Did you go back to the same breeder? How old was the first one when you got the second. Any issues or advise would be great...thanks

| I did not go back to my first breeder because he wasn't a very good breeder. I had not discovered YT when I got our second yorkie and there was a lot I just didn't know. The main thing to me is to just be sure your first is completely trained before you get the second. Gracie was trained when we got Spike but we got Sugar before Spike was trained. Sugar was an adult and supposedly trained but it created a lot of problems and I think it hindered Spike's training.

| All three of mine are from the same breeder. Autumn and Blaze have the same mom. Chance was a rescue. The breeder I used had all of her dogs siezed and taken by the ASPCA. So even though I did my research and got two wonderful yorkies from her there were still a lot I did not know about her. People have a way of hiding info and things they don't want you to know! So just be careful - and do your homework.

| Zoeybear was about 7mo old when we got Baby Chloe. I didnt go to the same breeder, but I am very happy with Zoeybear. I was afraid to get another, but they are glued together at the hip and are so much company to each other. It is the best decision I ever made.

Our breeder was wonderful!! She opened up the whole kennel to us and we met the mom and dad. Cooper has just be a spectacular dog. We have been thinking of waiting until she breeds the same two dogs again even if we have to wait quite a while. Cooper is pad trained and has just started going outside. My son's girl friend brought over her new little rat terrier puppy and he was excellent with sharing his toys, food and bed.

| When we got Izzy (not a Yorkie) we almost go two pups but our breeder advised against it. She told us in doing that they tend to bond more with each other than with you and suggested we wait 1 1/2 to 2 years to add another pup to the family. Well...we did that and got Gracie, our little Yorkie. Those two are thick as thieves together but both have bonded well with us too. I would love to hear someone elses experience as I'm not sure how much truth there is to this.

| When I got #2, I went with a different breeder. Gracie was about 1 1/2 years old when I got Holly. The only advise I can give is give each their own space, toys, dishes etc. until they tell you they want to share and share alike. Be sure to give the first baby you had everything first, first for love, first for food, first for play. Don't force them on each other, it might take some time for them to get along. Gracie dearly loves her little sister, is very protective of her. I think my Avatar speaks for how well they get along.

| Thank you for a second opinion. My two are about two years apart and it was love at first sight with each other. Izzy, the older one, is an Aussie and has boundless energy and immediately took over the role of Mommie to Gracie. They get along very well with each other and with all other dogs too. I'm grateful for that because I have friends whose dogs are quite standoffish with other animals and people.

| I love having two! We had picked Abby up from the breeders and only had her 9 days when I got a phonecall asking me if I wanted another one. Daisy is 2 yrs old. So then I had a 2.5 month old and a 2 yr old. It has worked out wonderfully. Daisy was used to being an only dog and at first she didn't quite know what to make of Abby, but I can't imagine it any other way now. I feel so much better that they both have a playmate. Daisy watches after Abby and even though she won't cuddle with her, let Abby make one little whimper and Daisy comes running. My girls are from two completely different breeders I believe. I really have no idea where Daisy originally came from. Her carrier is an air taxi, so I feel that she must have been shipped from out of state. I was told that Daisy was completely potty trained. WRONG! So now I'm working on two. It's worth it

| i got my first yorkie, Bear for christmas and after a month decided to buy his brother, Mowgli. so yes i did go to the same breeder and they grew onto eachother immediatley! (it probably helped that they knew eachother before), but after having two i could never go back to just one. they're always there to entertain eachother and you never feel bad if you have to leave them.

| I did not go back to the same breeder because Lily's breeder was a bad person. She was about a year when we got Kingston. We have had him for a little over 3 weeks and all is going well.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Pixie, DIxie (RIP) and Roxie are all from the same breeder. Cali is from someone I would not go back to. I had a 8 year old pom when I got Cali who was 9 weeks, they really didn't pay a lot of attention to each other. So when Cali was 1 1/2 years old I got Pixie who was 13 months and she bonded with my pom and really is the leader of the pack. She bonded with us as well but loves the other dogs. Then when Pixie was 2 and Cali 2 1/2 , Pixie's breeder called and said she had another Pixie type if I was interested, so I took her but tragiclly she passed away after 5 weeks due to unforseen kidney failure so then their Breeder gave me Roxie who was 4 months when I got her and 9 months now. Pixie and Roxie play great, Cali is pretty much a loner and they all like my pom. Potty training was more difficult with Pixie as she was older and not trained. I find they really like canine compnay but still love their Mom. Roxie is a little snuggle bug. If Cooper is dominant than I would look for a more laid back puppy or vise versa. I love having more than one
