we got our first 2 pups together from different litters but the same father. they had no problems bonding to us and to each other. i highly recommend cetting them the same age and energy levels.. get another soon.. it will all work out.. i dont recommend a puppy with an older dog because it could give the older dog a heart attack because they want to play all the time..
i sent 2 pairs out to new homes and it has worked wonderfully.. i think your breeder was mistaken.. jmo..
