| Thinking about rehoming I have a 3 yr old, 5 1/2 month old and two 3 month old puppies....I didn't realize how much work it was all going to be. One puppy is going to its new home over 4th of July weekend. I want to keep the other puppy because he is the son of my 3 yr old. The five month old is from a different breeder all together. I am thinking about rehoming her. She is a great dog, loving and friendly but her and my 3 yr old don't get along and I just don't think I can handle four dogs anymore, I work and go to school full time....not to mention the vet bills...oh brother don't get me started.....I have her scheduled for obedience training and then after that I am going to make my final decision......AAAAGGHHHHH......Any comments or suggestions would be great.

| I don't have any advice.. I just wanted to say that I'm sure this is/will be a difficult decision for you. I wish you the best of luck in what ever you decide to do and know that it will be in the best interest of the dog.

| I was thinking that sometimes when you have more than one dog and you don't have a lot of time like me they don't get the proper attention and love and I am not sure I am giving that to her. Do not get me wrong, she has toys and beds and the best food, groomer and vet care possible but I feel like I am not playing with her and giving her the emotional attachement. If I do rehome her it will be with someone that has no more than one dog so she will be totally spoiled.

| That is a very hard decision to make, but I think it is good that you are taking your time to make sure either way she is happy. Good luck, and keep us posted.

| I have already paid for her puppy school so were going to do that and then decide if we want to rehome or not....its so hard because I am attached but I feel like she might be happier with a spoiling family...hehe

Also keep in mind that it may be better for her to go to a home with multiple dogs so that she can have a companion. I've seen a complete change in Franklin since we got Maggie and now I don't think they could ever be apart. Again, good luck with whatever you decide to do.

| JUST TO CLARIFY LADIES .....I never said being with a family with alot of dogs wont be good for her I just prefer she goes to a family with not a lot of dogs....of course if the family is great and they a one dog I am going to be willing to give her up....but remember this is my dog and I am rehoming her and I get to choose where she goes and if that is what I want than that is what I want and if it takes me a year to find a family that I like then good and if not then it wasnt mean to be....

| I would rehome her as soon as possible. I think the younger the better. I hope you find the best possible home for her.
