| Great story! Something similar happened to me. I told a good friend, who knew I was seriously looking in to getting a puppy, that he was going to have a niece. And before I could even talk about the puppy he freaked. I couldn't understand why. Well then I was real quick to reassure him it was the fur kind of niece, not skin.  |

| My dogs are like children, my husband even had his first fathers day, he thought I was nuts but he is there father lol.

| YT 1000 Club Member  | Cute story...but "others" just don't "get it" and until they get a fur baby of their own...they won't....thank goodness we have YT where we all understand!! Did anyone see the Dr. Phil show last night...the woman had a chi and she was saying this was her "son"....while lots of people were laughing at her...I understood her love and devotion to this fur baby of hers...totally!
