We posted this in the Rescues section but I think it'll get more views and replies here..

Kelly found this ad yesterday Dogs In Danger: Our Dogs in Much Danger!.

It's a brother/sister pair located at the Borger Animal Control in Borger, TX. I think that is close to Amarillo..? They are just under year old.

I called the lady this morning and she said that they really were going to be euthanized in 3 days because the dogs had been there over a week and they "just didn't have room". The adoption fee is $40 each. The OKYR has decided we will take them in -- Jen (jencar98) has graciously offered to foster them until we can find them permanent homes BUT SOMEONE IN TEXAS HAS to go pick them up and keep for a couple of days until we can figure out arrangements to get them here.

These dogs need our help!

I wish I could, I def would if I could. I will pass on this info to people I know though and hopefully these two will be adopted.

I looked up Borger, TX. and it's in the Amarillo area (the Texas Panhandle) - SOMEONE MUST BE ABLE TO HELP that is in that area !!!! We have lots of texans here and way to go Jen !!

Also ...for the people who post on multiple sites - CROSSPOST this (copy it) so the word gets out -

Everyone who see's this send them an e-mail letting them know you
are trying to get them help. Perhaps they will wait alittle longer.

And, good idea Mary about those going to the meet-up. Anyone driving from Texas will most likely drive within an hour (or less) of my home. You almost have to go through OK, if you're in Texas and driving to KC. :D

I cannot imagine out of all our members that there isn't someone close enough to do this!! Time to step up!! I live in LA or I would def get them!! I am SURE one of our members WILL save these precious little babies!! Lets do this YT!!!
