| Sniffles ?? Jessies little babies are 2 weeks old now. One is smaller than the other one. I am a bit concerned about one of them.... he has got a bit of a running nose. When I pick him up and hold him to my ear, I could hear the fluid in his nose as he breathes. Is it .. what ? They are kept warm, they are nice and healthy (fat), they eat enough. Everything with them is just fine, only this one little concern. Only heard it last night but this morning didn't sound that bad. Can someone explain to me ??? Thanks again for your input. Ina

| My pups are now 9 weeks old and they DID THE EXACT SAME THING!!! I was soooo careful and took excellent care of mine and couldn't see how this could happen. I wouldn't even let other people touch them. I was sooooo worried. Took them to the vet and she gave me anitbiotics for them. It honestly didn't seem to help. My Mom's pups were born 1 week after mine and then hers got the sniffles too. She didn't take them to the vet. They all (hers and mine) got over it and were perfectly fine. Someone else on here then had pups and posted the exact same thing. The only thing I can figure is that there is some extra pollen this year that the mothers are picking up when they go out to pee. I'd take them to the vet just to be safe. Mine started with just one pup, then went to all four (of course they all eat at the same buffet). I would wipe it off every single time I saw a teeny little bit come out of their noses. |

| sniffles I am not too concerned about a bit of a clear discharge from the nose...sometimes they do this when they nurse. It never hurts to have the vet listen to the lungs..glad they are doing so well. |

| Sniffies Thanx. I've been to the vet and he said it is ok. It is exactly as you said. Nothing to worry about. I am sooo glad. Just saw that their little eyes starting to open now. It is so cute. Also trying to walk and not crawl anymore. I will definitely post some pics, but still waiting for the kids to come and visit so they can help with the IT part of it. Tee-hee. Have a blessed day. Ina

| Yeah, you'll be "puppy rolling" before you know it! (definition: when the little buggers are on their backs and can't get rolled back over on their own). Have fun!!!!! |
