| when to switch puppy food to adult I'm curious because teddy is almost 7 months and he seems to not be as regular (pooping) as he use to be. he use to go 3 times a day and now he barely goes twice. I've tried for over an hour to get him to go and all he wants to do is sit and he's had all his food and the last time he went was 12pm so it's been over 10 hours now since it's 10:30pm. He loves his puppy food and I feed him 2 cups a day of it and everything so I just don't understand why he doesn't have to go.

| i feed him the goodlife for puppies the chicken kind it's what the previous owner gave him so I didn't switch and on the back I see it's actually intended for large and giant breeds of dogs.. I need to look for a new brand.

Donating YT 10K Club Member | Reggie is almost 6 months...he poops 3 times a day. My other two only go twice a day. How old is your puppy? I ask because 2 cups is probably too much food per day. 1/3 to 1/4 cup is what wellness advises.

Well teddy use to go 3 times a day then went down to two and today he only went once which I do not like that at all. I mean if he goes twice I feel like he's doing ok. also are you the woman with the website that breeds yorkies? I wanted one of your pups so bad but we just couldn't afford it. I hated that. But we got our little teapot for a good price. We're working on training him now.. he needs to learn stay, he knows sit, lay down and crawl but not stay (unless you're mad at him). But yeah tomorrow I need to go to pet smart and check out the other puppy food they have because I have enough of his last bag to slowly change food brands over.
