| ![]() I think just a lot going on for this lil guy..a lot of stimulation. A new home, a trip to the vet and emergency, birthday party, school ..heck I would be stressed..this is a lot.. lol. I bet he'll start to eat when the schedule settles down..puppys love to sleep as much as they love to play. I hope everything goes smoothly..when things settle down take some pics..good luck. |

| ![]() I just talked to my husband. He is home from school. He said Cruiser did really well. He has eaten quite a bit today - the wet stuff- the Ceasar's stuff. That what the breeder had given us. He still hasn't touched his kibble. He has pooped today so there must be something going in. |

| ![]() He's not really eating much for treats. He won't eat any milk bones. I've even broke up the puppy one for him and the little marrow one into tiny pieces. He does eat the baa-baa-q's. |

| ![]() with teddy the magical treat was peanut butter flavored treats or these really soft training treats I found at petsmart. He goes wild for those but could careless about other ones.

| ![]() Since I got home, Cruiser has been at his food dish quite a bit AND he's even munching on his kibble! Yea! He also seems very playful and much less tired. I think he's recovered from his ordeal. |

| ![]() Here is a site that might help you decide on the best brand of doggie food. Pet Food information, manufacturers, products, ingredients, cat, dog, pet food. I feed Canidae All Life Styles because I have a Pommie who is allergic to wheat, corn, and eggs. You will find that most Yorkie owners will feed a 5-star food rather than a 6-star food. 6-star is too high in protein. Yorkies are very prone to pancreatitis. There are many Yorkies here on YT who suffer from liver problems which is also affected by protein. I am also very careful with treats. Very, very small bites. No corn, wheat, or eggs. Chattiesmom here on YT sells Yorkie Yummies which are a big hit with my furbabies. They are very tiny squares made from either liver or chicken. (The Pommie doesn't get them, though, because of the ingredients.) Also with the switching around with foods. When I switched over to Canidae it took me 3 wks. The Yorkies were doing okay at 2 wks., but the Pommie was still having trouble with too soft stools. I'm actually really surprised that your vet told you to switch around with foods. My vet is very adamant that I do any switching at a very slow pace. Good luck with your little one. Oh, I also give a tsp. of non-fat, plain yogurt and either a tsp. of no-sugar, no-salt applesauce or no-salt mashed green beans. The yogurt helps my one Yorkie from have such smelly gas. ![]() ![]()
