| Question Hi: I'm new here and I have a related question. But first, let me tell you a little about me... I'm an animal lover and I have adopted stray and abandoned animals since I was a little kid . I have rescued dogs and cats (pregnant and non-pregnant). But all animals I was able to rescue were friendly, loving and not aggressive at all. I also rescued them one at a time, meaning that I would adopt them and have them until their time came. Only once I adopted two at once, but they did not have a problem with each other. I also want to tell you that I have had dogs, cats, birds, fish, water snakes (I know it sounds weird ), ducks, rabbits and chickens. Yes, I grew up in a zoo ! Also, my father has bred German Shepards for about 30 years now. Now I have 2 Yorkies (13 & 12 months old) very playful and friendly. Before I got my dogs I wanted to foster rescued dogs and cats. I wonder if now that I have my doggies it would be wise to foster a cat/kitten. I am not sure what the rescuer organization would think if I tell them I have two little dogs. What do you think? Should I rather adopt a cat? As I wrote before, I rescued my previous pets from the streets, but now I would need to deal with an organization, understandable, they are very strict. Have anyone fostered cats while having Yorkies at home? I’m not concern about my Yorkies, I am concern about the newcomer. I don’t want her/him to have a bad time and feel threatened or miserable . Thank you for reading/replying to my post. Frances |

| I had my 2 cats before i got Pippa and they were a bit pissed with me when she arrived and they gave her several paw slaps, one even cut her eye ball!!!! But now they arent the best of friends but they can be in the same room, even sniff one another with no scrapping. In time yours will be fine too
