Yeah...saw this on the news a while ago...it made me sick! How can this happen? The artist and the people who just view this exhibit and do nothing should be ashamed of themselves!

You sure don't know what to believe; sometimes I think he did it to bring attention to the problem of thousands of dogs starving in the streets everyday. Sometimes I think he did it to bring attention to himself. It's a horrible situation whatever the case.

Spaying and neutering in the United States has really paid off, or we would be faced with the same crisis. I'm glad to hear it may not be true, but you never know if this is really the case, or if he was so frightened by all the death threats. I can understand his position, in a way, if you are surrounded by literally hundreds of starving dogs, and you know you can't feed them all, what do you do? Many people from other countries think the citizens of the United States share unspeakable wealth, and could fix the problem if they wanted to badly enough. So he believes that we are hypocrites for being angry with him for documenting the death of the dog, when we are doing nothing to stop the thousands of other starving animals.

If his intent was to bring animals' plight to the attention of his audience, he has succeeded, I think.

Sad.... it is a good point to be made, but seriously isn't there another way of making that point than putting a starving dog on display as an art exhibit??
