Awee, well accidents do happen, I was so afraid of doing this to Lil Miss Maggy May cause she's so little and I'm used to our big furkids. I read a post on here where the lady scooted her feet and always looked behind her before she sat down and I started doing that. Granted I must have looked a bit funny scooting my feet but hey, Maggy was safer that way, lol. Now I'm used to her and she doesn't try and attack my feet much anymore. Hopefully your furbaby learns quickly not to walk in Mommas path, in the meantime, you might try scooting your feet ;-)

I did that when he was tiny.
But because he is soooo big now i dont do it anymore.. I was more scared then Snickers most of the time.

aww yeah I have done it too, I usually try to make sure I know where Duke is at now before I move around but it still happens sometimes, he usually gets under my husbands feet

With seven dogs my hubby, visitors, and I all learned the shuffle quickly. The fur babies just want to stay so close sometimes. I don't think my feet leave the ground when In walking in the house.

The 'yorkie shuffle'! haha! I love it.. and definitely know how to do it! I can see how a bell would work really great.

When Mia was young, she was stepped on a couple of times, but she knows now to stay away from the feet! She's pretty good about it.

I have a colar on Bandit with a bell on it so I know where he is at all times which is usually under my feet anyways he moves so fast its hard to keep track of him lol. For some reason everyone seems to trip over him but me....I guess its just a mother instinct to know where he is at all times lol. I definately recomend the colar with a bell.

Yes this is what you need to do!! They are both under my feet ALL the time!! I shuffle, don't really pick up my feet all the way. And when I'm standing in one spot for a few seconds, I always look around before I make a move... And when I look, they are both looking up at me EVERYTIME!!!!

Adie made me break my toe!

Our little Skeeter has already learned to scream as loud as he can if he even THINKS he is going to get stepped on. That scares our german shepherd to death!

I step on Bear all the time ... he is constantly chasing my feet because he wants to play with them, lol. Hopefully when he gets older he will outgrow this. I do the Yorkie shuffle, but sometimes I still do step on him. He always recovers quickly though

Don't feel bad. They love to be underfoot. Penny can be in a sound sleep and if I get up she is right there. I've learned to look for her all the time. Although today she was coming toward me and I came around the corner and stepped on her foot. I really felt bad. But she's ok. She got some XTRA kisses and she was all better.
