| When we took Tucker for his last shots the vet tech picked him up and then asked me if he was under 10 pounds! (He was 4 pounds). Then she was talking about something and said it would protect him up to 20 pounds. I finally looked at her and said "You do know he's a yorkie, don't you?" Well, maybe she knows better than me, at not even 4 months he's over 6 pounds. I think she jinxed him! My friend was a vet tech, it was a job she got right out of high school and with no previous training or experience! She was even allowed to do x-rays and give shots! I guess it depends on the vet and the quality of tech he is willing to pay for.
