| new puppy question We are getting our little guy tomorrow. He is 13 weeks old. We were planning on going to Michigan for the day on Sunday. Do you think it would be bad to bring him along? It's a 1.5 hour drive. Will it be too much for him? |

| I personally would avoid the trip with him if at all possible. Pups really need a calm environment without alot going on while they are settling in to their new home, which is hard enough to achieve without trips. Even the slightest thing can throw them off during their adjustment period--including throwing off their willingness to eat, thus making them veuneralble for potentially serious issues with hypoglaucimia. |

| Could you get him after your trip? Personally, I don't think I would leave a puppy that I just got -less than 2 days earlier- alone for an entire day.

| okay. Would it be bad to leave him for 1/2 a day and have someone check on him? |

| The trip may be a little difficult for him. He's had so much happen in his little world and short life. He's really confused and probably a little scared right now. Car rides can be upseting at first.
