Luvs Lulu Donating Member | After bath peeing question.. Ok I took Zoey out today to pee and then brought her back inside to take her bath. After her bath maybe 4 minutes later I found her in my son's room peeing on his damn comforter that was on the floor. Have you all noticed that your baby needs to pee right after a bath...or could it just be that she was mad as hell I made her take a bath?

I Love Thor Donating Member | I read somewhere that the warm water can stimulate them to pee. Just take them outside after bath time. I know you don't want them to get all dirty right after a bath, just keep them on a leash, this may solve your problem...I don't think it's get back. |

Luvs Lulu Donating Member | Zoey is a little nut bag. Oooh and all animals can have their little vengeful sides....they are furry little humans. It was funny walking in and catching her in the act...you could see the look of relief when she was done but then it was like oh shoot I got busted...dang. Serves me right for leaving that comforter on the floor as I stripped the linens...lol.

| We have a routine... After Chewy gets out of the bathtub and i spray her teeth and she runs 2 or 3 laps around the apt. Then she jets back into the bathroom where I am cleaning up and pees. She is wee wee pad trained. I def. think it is the warm water and running shower that stimulated their bladders because she has never missed once in almost 2 years. If you dont want to take her out right after a bath you can alwys train her to go on a pad right after bath time. maybe it was a one time thing? |

| Tatum knows the routine well. She potties before bath and then we bathe, apply conditioner and then someone holds her wrapped in a towel (either me or one of the kids) and then we rinse conditioner and head to the bathroom to dry. Immediately after drying she goes straight to the door, goes outside and pees lickety-split and heads in for her after-bath special treat and bully stick. That's the way it's always been. I always figured the warm bath would make her need to go.

I just ran an errand with my friend and I had my daughter take her out. Well she peed and then came back in and looked at me and peed again. Like hello you must want to be in prision again. She gets a bit spiteful if you ask me sometimes. Like hello you went out then come home and ask someone else to walk me. I will show you...lol
