| Horrible sounds I woke up to the horrible sound the other nite. I thought it was two cats fighting really bad. But as I listen no way was it 2 cats ...it was awlful screeching and screams. You could hear the trees and bushes moving and the screeching was so loud. Then.. one let out a very loud cry and then the crys soften and you could hear the death of one creature and the screeching of a win from the other. I have never heard this near my home ..only on TV... We went in the morning and found Long grey feathers on the ground near the pines trees and bushes..No blood..No bodies WE THINK it was an owl and a cat and the cat lost (Not real sure) I have two tiny yorkies and malti ..it has really scared me and I am now lot more careful leaveing my babies out to long without me What ever it was I hope it does not return.. __________________

YT 2000 Club Member | Awe, that's so sad. I know it's the way of the wild and wild animals have to east to, but it would break my heart to have to hear that, I'd probably wake my hubby and make him run out into the woods to help me try and save something. I wouldn't leave your furbabies out at all by themselves, to many things can happen to them.

| I never let my babies out without me.You also have to watch for hawks. One started to come down on us and I grabbed her. I always look up when we are outside. It such a shame that this can happen but you can never be too careful. I am sorry you had to hear that, it just terrible. |

| Wow! That must've been creepy! I'm always scared about hawks and the like too. Someone at the ballfield just told me that they know someone whos small dog was taken by a hawk. I'm always outside with Zoe for the most part but still I wish they made something that would scare the hawks away. Wouldn't it be nice if we dressed them up in a nice pink dress and it scared away the predators? |
