| I am in the UK and so Tootsy has a tail. It is just SO adorable and curls up over her back and makes her look even more like a little puppy. I don't mind the 'extra grooming', as was mentioned as one advantage of not having a tail - it hardly takes more than a couple of minutes, anyway. She looks so cute when she wags it. I would be really disappointed if she didn't have her cute, silky tail. Luv Franceen xx |

| In England it has been illegal for some years to dock tails My Alfie who is a recue has a docked tail, the previous owners obviously had a disregard for the law and eventually couldn't handle his feisty character. My last dog Paddy RIP another rescue had a full tail and a beautifull set of nuts that would have sent any girl wild, he was all man. Saying that though, Alfie although missing his tail and his nads is still a good dog, but no good to the girls. I personally think a long tail looks good on a Yorkie, the only drawback we had with Paddy was that his poop used to cling to the fur and evrey walk time his bum and tail needed cleaning, I did not mind though as he was my best friend, I would have died for him |
