| I had a maltese that did that years ago and read an article one day about it and said it could be they have a tooth ache...so off to the vet we went and sure enough my poor baby had some infected teeth...Had them pulled and he stopped licking air so that must have been the reason. You might want to have his teeth checked. |

| I would never have thought of that. But it makes sense because whenever something is wrong in my mouth I just can't keep my tongue off it. Maybe it is a similar feeling for a dog. Hmmm. Good information.
