| The breeders section probably would be able to better answer your questions. You plan on docking your puppies tail on your own? Thought vets did that. I may be wrong since I am not a breeder.

| Congrats on the litter and welcome to YT! Don't know anything about docking tails, do you have someone to help you do it? Or have you ever done it before? I'm not a breeder, but if it were me and I had no experience w/ docking tails I'd probably take them to the vet just to be safe!

| When my husband was breeding rotties he docked the tails himself but I had my vet do my yorkie pups - it only cost about $8.00/pup here to get dew claws & tails done

| If you havent docked the tails before, then let the vet do it. You could really hurt them and it also depends on how old they are. My sister does it but it's her and her co-breeder that do it together and she is a tech so I would just let the vet do it. |

I don't breed but I would think if this is your first litter you should probably not just go out and buy a tool and dock the tails yourself. Has your mom been seen by a vet while she was expecting? You should probably have your vet do the dew claws and tails. Elaine | |

| IBC papers to register Biewers? If you have Biewer puppies, you don't dock the tails. They have full tails.

| Since this is your first litter, I'm assuming that you have not docked tails before. If you haven't, let a vet do it. It's not very expensive at all to get tails docked and dew claws removed. How old are they? I'm not a breeder, but I was under the impression that it should be done within the first three days of the pups being born. Congratulations! We'd love to see pics!

| Tail docking happens at 3-5 days old and i would suggest you have a vet do it and at least show you how the first time.

| They are papers to register Biewers. It stands for International Biewer Club. It's a German registry. Again, if you have Biewer puppies. Don't dock the tails - it's not the standard for Biewers.
