I agree . . I have 2 wonderful furbabies that are my LIFE. One is not purebreed and the other is . .but the love I give them is equal . . . it really does not matter whether you have a pet quality, a show quality, a mix breed. .what is important is how you treat them, as I do both just like they are my very own . .to them, they know nothing about materials things . .all they care about really is having a wonderful parent who will love them unconditionally, the way they do to us.

Taylor, I'm sorry if you you where made to feel bad.....I know where your coming from in your absolute love and devotion for your Callie. Please don't let someone spoil the specialness of your Callie, she's your heart and soul and that is what is important....

Sometimes I think that is why I love to spend all my time with my yorkies over most people, they're there just to give love and get love and they want nothing more......

I find it sad that we sometimes define the quality of a person by their bank statement.....

I feel the same way you can pay thousands or hundreds its makes no difference to the unconditional love you receive from your furbaby. I have 3 children 18, 15, and 12, while i love my children more than life itself, i also love my furbaby as well, i would protect her in the same manner. I hate to hear it when people say "they are just animals" what a crock, these are beings that need love and cared for like humans and i dont see them as any less of a being because they are not human. We have seen these furbabies abused and mistreated and still have love and compassion. If i could i would take 1000's of them in my home to love. They ALL are gifts from god no matter the price or pedigree.

I agree, mines not perfect. and I take another nonperfect one in again, it dont matter to me if their show quality or any thing else. , I love them all the same, and all they want is to be loved.

Taylor, that was a very well stated post. I do respect those breeders who breed to standard...after all, that's what makes a yorkie a yorkie. But if your yorkies doesn't have ears that stand(1 of mine has floppy ears) or an overbite(1 of mine has a slight underbite), I don't respect those who look down on those things and think those are valued less(not monetarily)....they(the yorkies), know nothing about that...all they want is to give unconditional love and receive it in return....

I totally agree that your post was so touching. Your post really defined what God created our precious dogs (of any breed) for. I am glad and respect that there are standards to protect our dogs from disease so that they can live with us longer. When reading your post tonight, right or wrong to those with strong opinions, that's all that sticks out as important. Bless you sweetie.

There are so many people out there who are rich and buy small dogs as fashion accesorries and they are not they are living things. I'm just so sad by some people my gosh money means nothing compaired to what Callie has given me.

At the end of the day it's all about the love. That is what counts. I may not have a dog that conforms to the Standard, be show quality, akc registered...etc but she is mine. I love her to death and she is here to be my companion and love my family and she sure as hell does a bang up job of it.

The main thing is we love our babies and no one can tell us differently.

Taylor, our babies are all perfect to each of us in their own little way!! Callie is a beautiful girl and i know she is going to be stunning in her special birthday fufu dress!! She will be a little princess!!
None of my babies are show quality. I didn't get them for that and i don't think most of us here have show quality babies!! We just all love yorkies in all their wonderful glorious unique personalities, shapes, sizes and colors. They are all beautiful!!
I am so happy that Callie is your companion. I know she brings you so much joy!!
