| Onesie question Finally, Sargie is being neutered on Friday (5/8). It was recommended in Yorkietalk that I use a onesie rather than one of those cones - just have a quick, probably dumb question - this is a regular baby onesie, right? Sargie is not technically housetrained - he goes on pads when he wants - suggestions? Thanks - Chris and Sargie |

| i bought a diaper from petsmart... it fits him better... it's still loose enough that it doesn't catch on his stitches though... i got the XS (for under 4 lbs)... but they have bigger sizes... it was $15. a onesie would probably be cheaper. i bought Kash a preemie onesie and it was still to big. if i hadn't thought of getting the diaper, i was going to safety pin the onesie so it fit better. lol. but luckily i didn't have to. i'm not sure about what to do about Sarge going to the bathroom... maybe that's why a diaper would be better because he can use it as a bathroom too?? i dunno... i just take Kash's off when i take him out to go potty.

Donating YT Addict | Hi Chris. My Ozzy goes in tomorrow for his neuter I am a wreck already. I bought 0-3 month onesies and he is 4lbs. They fit him fine. (and he looks so cute!) As for the pottying. I don't know. I would think if you took him to the pad every 2 hours or so and unsnapped it for him you may be able to avoid accidents. We're still working on the pee accidents ourselves

| Nervous Says It! I never thought I'd be this nervous about a pet - anyway, I will be very glad when it's over and he is back home. Sargie is only about 4.5 pounds so he is small also and I worry about anesthesia on such a small dog (my friend says don't worry, some animals don't even get anesthesia, Tucker did well - yeah! Tucker, the hundred-pound shepherd-lab mix!). Ah well. It's good to know thoughts are with us, and my thoughts are with Ozzy too. I have never had luck bringing Sargie to the pad - he walks away - or runs away - very stubborn. Goes when he wants and that is THAT! I thought of trying that, or taking him outdoors since he usually has to spray every tree etc. (but after the operation who knows about that)! Again good luck to you manana..good luck Ozzy! Donating YT Addict | Chris, I just heard from the vet and Ozzy did great. HE was only 3lbs 12oz so he was smaller that I thought! He did just great though. I hope this helps you feel alittle better about friday
